The Energy Information Administration (EIA), created by Congress in 1977, is a statistical agency of the U.S. Department of Energy.  EIA is the Nation’s premier source of unbiased energy data, analysis and forecasting.  EIA provides this information to promote sound policy making, efficient energy markets, and public understanding about energy and its interaction with the economy and the environment.

Solar Energy International (SEI) is a USA non-profit organization whose mission is to help others use renewable energy and environmental building technologies through education.  SEI teaches individuals from all walks of life how to design, install and maintain renewable energy systems, and how to design and build efficient, sustainable homes.  SEI offers trainings online and in 22 locations around the world.

Established in 1954, the American Solar Energy Society (ASES) is the nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the use of solar energy, energy efficiency, and other sustainable technologies in the U.S.  ASES leads national efforts to promote solar energy education, public outreach, and advocacy.  It publishes the award-winning SOLAR TODAY magazine, organizes and presents the ASES National Solar Conference and leads the ASES National Solar Tour — the largest solar energy event in the world.

The Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association (CoSEIA) has brought Solar Energy to Colorado since 1989.  Here you will find the latest infomation on solar energy news, rebates, events, legislation, and education and outreach.

The Sustainable Energy Coalition (SEC) brings together more than 60 national and state-level business, environmental, consumer, and energy policy organizations.  Founded in 1992, the Coalition promotes increased federal support for energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies and reduced federal support for unsafe or polluting energy resources.  SEC members advocate federal energy policies that will lead to a cleaner environment, safe reliable energy technologies, and a secure, prosperous future for all Americans.

Over more than four decades, the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) public scholars have used their independence — from government, from corporate money, and from the silos of academia — to combine fresh, bold ideas with effective action.  The Sustainable Energy and Economy Network works in partnership with citizens groups nationally and globally on environment, human rights and development issues with a particular focus on energy, climate change, environmental justice, gender equity, and economic issues, particularly as these play out in North-South relations.

The We Campaign is a project of The Alliance for Climate Protection — a nonprofit, nonpartisan effort founded by Nobel laureate and former Vice President Al Gore.  The goal of the Alliance is to build a movement that creates the political will to solve the climate crisis — in part through repowering America with 100 percent of its electricity from clean energy sources within 10 years.
