Existing system:
- Ajax 850,000 BTUH tube boiler efficiency 67%.
- Domestic hot water production system a #14 Everhot with a Watts mechanical mixing valve.
- No hot water storage tank and three handle shower non pressure balanced fixtures.
Solution: Separate the system with one boiler for heating and one for domestic hot water, with storage.
Equipment selection:
- Install 1 Munchkin heating boiler at 92% efficient.
- Install 1 munchkin domestic hot water boiler at 96% efficient.
- Use wet rotor Taco commercial pumps.
